Hi there, I'm Marie, a certified yoga teacher and a

I started my yoga journey back in '97. The serenity it
offered was my sanctuary. However, as a civil rights lawyer, my job was demanding and all-consuming. I barely had time to breathe. I stopped taking care of me.

My blood pressure increased, sleep eluded me, I gained a few extra pounds, my brain was lost in a fog, and I was very cranky.

 

After my husband's wakeup call, I seized control of my schedule, carved out time for myself. I unrolled my yoga mat, and did just 15 minutes of yoga and 5 minutes of meditation each day. It was amazing! I felt stronger, more flexible, my blood pressure decreased, I lost weight, and I slept. The fog in my mind lifted, and I became a better spouse and lawyer.
